Darling West and Odd Nordstoga covered «My Hometown» on the Norwegian TV-show «Trygdekontoret» a couple of months ago, and the result was applauded both by the viewers and both of the artists fans. The version went viral very quickly, and the demand for the song, both live and on streaming, was massive.

Both Darling West and Odd Nordstoga are big fans of The Boss, and they're really excited to cover one of their heroes. So when they were asked to go into the studio and record a new version of the song, there were no doubt in their mind.

September 23rd is the 69th birthday of Bruce Springsteen, and to celebrate this, Darling West and Odd Nordstoga decided to release this version on his Birthday. Happy birthday Bruce, and lucky us, because this version is utterly amazing.
